For safety reasons, it's vitally important that your crew can move about the deck with minimum risking of slipping on wet decks. Most boats therefore apply a non-slip paint to relevant areas of the deck. Traditionally, non-slip paints often contained fairly course aggregate which could be very abrasive on sails, lines, clothing and human skin! Nauteco's non-slip paints contain very fine polypropylene beads that compliment the grippy properties of the polyurethane paint without creating a rough, abrasive finish.
