paint to work? I expected that the boat would actually be slower today because we were going from a slick bottom to a painted one, but I hoped that eventually I would regain the speed.
This does not seem to be the case. I do not know what WOT (wide open
throttle) is because I did not open it up. What really got my attention was that the boat came up on plane quicker.I tried it several times to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Normally three clicks forward on the throttles will give me about 2300 RPM and I'll let it sit there a second just so I bring the boat up slow and easy. Then I push the throttles another click and up we climb to 3000 RPM and when it planes the RPM's gradually rise to 3400. Today when I got to the third click the boat just kept coming on plane. Never seen that before.
